Meet Kim Holland, our resident instructor and trainer. Kim has been riding since 1989, English and Western, and
has competed in both. Kim has an associates degree in Equine Science and Management from SUNY Morrisville.
Her main focus is in Dressage, which is a discipline that aims to build balance, strength, and harmony between horse
and rider. Kim believes that this is useful and important in any style of riding. She is great with children
and adults!
Training
Kim will also work with horse owners looking to put training into their horses. She will not train
a horse without the owner by her side. She strongly believes in owner involvment, this way they can be witness
to the horse's progression, and gain a deeper understanding of their horse. There is no question as to how the training
is going. She has heard to many stories about owners sending their horses to training and getting them back in
the same or worse condition/training level, and other owners urging the trainer to push the horse to far to fast.
With owner involvement she believes that these issues can be avoided.
Training price is determined on an individual basis.
